Storage World Safety Measures:
- Face coverings and social distancing
In line with government guidelines face coverings are required on our facilities in both the receptions and the wider facility, this is applicable to staff, visitors and customers.
The space also allows for freedom of movement around site, enabling individuals to remain suitably distanced.
Use of our lifts is restricted to one person at a time, or group if those individuals are living and isolating together.
*Please note you will be asked to remove your face covering for identification verification when moving into store.
- Sanitisation
We have comprehensive sanitisation regimes across all stores which are undertaken regularly throughout the day, activities are documented and audited on a daily basis. This includes the sanitisation of all communal areas such as receptions, kitchens, toilets and lifts, touch points such as door handles, moving equipment and units between customers.
All stores are equipped with extensive personal sanitisation equipment – hand sanitising stations, gloves and masks on available for all visitors who require. Additionally, all of our storage units are sanitised immediately following a customer vacating the unit.
New contracts and payments
All storage rental contracts and associated items are sent, completed and returned digitally. Allowing you to complete your agreement in a suitable location.
- Payments are encouraged to be carried out without contact, via bank transfer, direct debit, Apple Pay and Google Pay or contactless credit or debit card payment.
- Appointment based move ins are preferred to facilitate all customer needs.
Working alongside our Health and Safety partner we continue to review Covid requirements and we continue to monitor the official guidance provided by the UK Government, Public Health England and our local authorities.
