What do you think when you hear the term self-storage? Like many others the first thoughts that pop into your head could be a place to store unwanted furniture, extra office equipment or even document archiving for those that operate in the paper filled business world. You are told what to store in your space, by way of advertisement and marketing, all pushing you in the one dimensional direction of the obvious storage solutions. For many looking for “storage” it is indeed the perfect solution.
However, because of general perception of what self storage facilities offer, it is easy to overlook what other options a storage unit may offer. When we say storage unit we are in reality only referring to a “space” that is being advertised as such. The actual possible use of a unit is far broader than that and relies only on the imagination of the customer as to what it can become, within reason of course.
Our 100 to 2000 square foot units may become anything from a room to read and study in away from the busy lives one may lead at home, to a space used as a hobby room, a small gym or even somewhere for band practice. As I said before the possibilities are endless and short of letting live animals loose on site we at Storage World.com really are open to the ideas that a customer may bring to the table, and, will do all we can to help grow and put in place a structure that can make these ideas work, no matter how unlikely it may seem at first.
There are of course rules we have to abide by and regulations that can’t be changed, but the message I’m trying to put across is that once you buy a space it is very much your own, don’t be bound by what others view self storage as and lets see how we can develop your vision here at Storage World.com!
