How Has Self Storage Benefitted Your Business?
It has made a huge difference moving into Storage World as we are able to hold more stock than we had previously been able to, in a much more organised way. This enables us to offer our customers a broader selection of products while also making it easier to manage our inventory.
Having a business address is also much more professional than simply having our home address on the website. It makes deliveries, especially pallet deliveries, easier to manage.
What Is Your Company’s Greatest Achievement to Date?
Our greatest achievement is our ability to create a unique home design that reflects the style and preferences of our customers. We stand out from other home interior stores due to our vast selection of products, knowledgeable staff, and attention to detail.
What Is the Biggest Challenge Your Business Has Overcome?
The biggest challenge we have faced is sourcing high-quality suppliers. We attended lots of trade shows, seeing and feeling products to see what works for our style and standards. There are many wholesalers supplying homewares; however, we pride ourselves on only sourcing high-quality products which we would only ever have in our own homes.
What Do You Wish You Had Known Before Starting Boxwood Home Interiors?
Be prepared for the growth and how you will manage this going forward. We always knew that we wanted the business to grow but didn’t plan this as well as we could have. Have a business plan in place to help you manage the growth and forecast.
Where Do You See Your Business in Five Years?
We would like to have an increased market share and bigger business premises, with staff members taking over roles such as warehousing, marketing, PR & social media, and accounts, to allow us to focus on growing the business.
What Drives Your Business?
Receiving great feedback from our customers really drives and motivates us. This ultimately adds to our continued success and really pushes us to ensure we are offering the highest level of customer service and great-quality products that our customers return for again and again.
