We’re delighted to announce the grand opening of our third storage facility, joining many bustling businesses located in the ideal location of Manchester Airport City. The opening of this new location comes off the back of a really successful few years at our Manchester city-centre and Middleton branches, welcoming over 1,000 storage clients and even a host of businesses operating out of our workspaces, with over 200 employees based between the sites.
We’ve made an investment of over £3m into the new facility to create a unique storage space that is sleek, modern and highly functional for a vast range of storage needs. We want our customers to walk into our facility and see the differences that make us stand out among our competitors and showcase to them how safe and secure their items are when stored with us.
Our new facility will house 500 individual storage units during phase one, with a view to expand as demand increases. These robust storage units will vary in size from as little as 10 sq ft to 1500 sq ft, meeting a wide range of customer needs from small locker requirements to whole offices if necessary. The site itself spans over 68,000 sq ft, so there is plenty of room for maneuvering big items and of course, more than enough space to store as much or as little as our clients would like.
We’ve already taken lots of enquiries for the new site, which is now officially open to clients to secure the storage unit they desire. Set near the airport, Storage World is a welcome development to businesses in the area, providing a great place to store those excess items that are taking up space within the office or shop floor.
It’s set to become a base to store imported and exported goods, as well as providing both local and regional storage solutions, making it the ideal space for those frequently travelling to and from the airport on business. This facility has great transport links to many areas across the region, located just a short two minutes from the M56.
At Storage World, we’re particularly excited to expand our storage offering to the neighbouring towns of Wilmslow, Hale, Lymm and Altrincham as there is currently no dedicated storage unit nearby and we want the businesses and residents of these areas to have a place to safely store any excess items they may have, at a great price.
Not only are we excited about expanding our services to a much wider reach, we’re looking forward to joining over 200 other businesses at this industrial park that see over 100,000 people employed already. We’re opening up further jobs within this sought after location and offering great workspace and warehouse space for budding businesses to finally have a place to call ‘home’.
